After a week of cool weather, fog and rain, the temperature climbed up to 80 degrees today. The warm moist air brought some dramatic evening thunderhead clouds with it. So I went to Salisbury Beach to grab some photos before the brewing storm unleashed it fury.
The beach was deserted except for a really nice family out enjoying the warm evening.
They had their three pet ferrets with them so I asked to take some photos since it’s not every day you run into ferrets frolicking at the beach.
The light to the east was soft and pretty while the storm brewed in the north-west.
Just before I took this picture lightening struck in the distance.
As we headed toward our cars the rain started. Just below the boardwalk a couple of foxes were playing but the lightening scared them back to their den.
