Good Harbor Beach

Summer made a come back in Massachusetts after several days of cool, rainy weather from hurricane Katia.  Luckily Katia did not make landfall in the US but caused more serious flooding issues on the eastern seaboard which was still drying out from hurricane Irene.  As Katia headed to Scotland, the beaches in New England were pounded with some terrific surf and strong rip tides.  I spent Friday evening at Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester, Mass. taking pictures in the beautiful late afternoon light of surf, surfers, dogs and people enjoying the last days of summer weather.
