Matt and I spent a very special St. Patrick’s day shooting wedding pictures for a wonderful couple celebrating their nuptials with family and friends. Jill and Dan exchanged vows at the church they have been attending since childhood. After the service, they were whisked off to the reception in a ruby red 1936 Cadillac. The reception was at the historic 1901 Willowdale Estate situated on the Ipswich River within Bradley Palmer State Park in Topsfield, Massachusetts. Matt and I had visited the estate a few weeks before and were super excited to have the opportunity to be part of a wedding celebration there. Willowdale estate was built in the style of the Arts and Crafts movement and retains the character of the period, from the local fieldstone exterior to the impeccably decorated interior. With it’s cozy rooms, fire places, candle light, and arbor dining hall I couldn’t imagine a better venue for Jill and Dan to celebrate their love and marriage. It was an unforgettable day!
